Loss & Love
from $12.50
During a season of loss, I painted a representation of darkness closing in and light floating away. When I showed it to my therapist, they said, "It also now looks like your hands are open to receive something different." The first thing that came to mind was being receptive to love and care. (Aren't therapists the worst/best?) That's when I added the charcoal layering and red lines to the piece.
